Tyrannical Doug Ford government in Ontario blocks a bill to help thousands of workers forced to take an experimental injection against their will or lose their jobs. Forcing the injection is a blatant human rights violation, one that can result in multiple serious diseases.

It’s risk this (below) or lose your job:

The Doug Ford government is wholly corrupt and evil to have done this.

A message from the MMP who tried to pass a bill to stop the firing of workers who refuse the mandatory mRNA injections:

I want to thank all of you for the help you have given me in the last month to defend Ontarians who made a different healthcare choice, against unemployment.
On Tuesday at 3pm, I introduced my Jobs & Jabs Bill and brought a motion to move it to Second & Third Reading.  Unfortunately my Bill was blocked by Ford Government House Leader, MPP Paul Calandra. The Bill was not blocked by the NDPs, instead it was blocked by the Doug Ford Government, thereby sentencing hundreds of thousands of Ontarians to unemployment.

I can’t begin to convey the sadness my staff and I are experiencing for over a million Ontario workers whose jobs may be in jeopardy. We worked very hard and we really did believe, until the last moment, that Members of the Provincial Parliament (MPPs) would not have the indecency to block the Bill.

I am appalled and disgusted by Doug Ford. He campaigned on Ontario being “Open for Business and Open for Jobs”.  After locking down businesses for 16 months, he is now rendering hundreds of thousands Ontario families to unemployment. The Jobs & Jabs Bill will go to Second Reading and will be debated in mid-December, but I don’t believe the Ford Government will allow it to pass through Third Reading.

So what’s next?

Countless Ontarians will lose their jobs this month. The Doug Ford Government knows it has a problem. We need to keep shining a light on its cruelty and incompetence. Hopefully, Doug Ford will fold like he typically does. Therefore, under no circumstance should we give up the fight to protect hundreds of thousands of jobs currently on the line.

We need to keep up the pressure on Doug Ford, Minister of Labour Monte McNaughton, and all PC MPPs to pass the Jobs & Jabs Bill or similar legislation.  They have majority and they can pass their own Bill to prevent termination because of medical status within 10 days.

I ask that if you or anyone in your family is facing a job loss because of your medical choice, that you tell that to your MPP and the Minister of Labour, Monte McNaughton. Find your MPP by postal code at https://voterinformationservice.elections.on.ca/en/election/search.  Monte McNaughton’s office can be reached at (519) 245-8696 and e-mail monte.mcnaughtonco@pc.ola.org  Write them a short personal email and call their office. Describe your circumstances and ask, what if anything will they do to save your job?

I will continue the pressure inside Parliament and grow our team. Help me by continuing to circulate the petition at www.RomanBaber.ca/JobsBill and email me if you’re willing to record a short video about your job loss or anticipated job loss for my social media. When you post on social media, keep using the hashtag #ChoiceNotUnemployment.

I am incredibly grateful to all of you for supporting me and reaching out to me. Everything I have heard from you has not gone to waste and will always remain with me. I know why I got into politics and even though this week did not work out the way I wanted, I am going to stay here and continue to fight for all of us. I can’t believe the injustice of forcing someone to make a choice between their health and putting food on the table and I will not stand for it.

Yours very truly,
Roman Baber

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed immaturity ... the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This immaturity is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the [European] Enlightenment. "Laziness and cowardice are the reasons why such a large part of mankind gladly remain minors all their lives, long after nature has freed them from external guidance. They are the reasons why it is so easy for others to set themselves up as guardians. It is so comfortable to be a minor. If I have a book that thinks for me, a pastor who acts as my conscience, a physician who prescribes my diet [or vaccine], and so on--then I have no need to exert myself. I have no need to think, if only I can pay; others will take care of that disagreeable business for me. Those guardians who have kindly taken supervision upon themselves see to it that the overwhelming majority of mankind ... should consider the step to maturity, not only as hard, but as extremely dangerous. First, these guardians make their domestic cattle stupid and carefully prevent the docile creatures from taking a single step without the leading-strings to which they have fastened them. Then they show them the danger that would threaten them if they should try to walk by themselves. Now this danger is really not very great; after stumbling a few times they would, at last, learn to walk. However, examples of such failures intimidate and generally discourage all further attempts. "Thus it is very difficult for the individual to work himself out of the immaturity which has become almost second nature to him. He has even grown to like it, and is at first really incapable of using his own understanding because he has never been permitted to try it. Dogmas and formulas [e.g., Leftist ideology, identity politics] these mechanical tools designed for reasonable use--or rather abuse--of his natural gifts, are the fetters of an everlasting immaturity. The man who casts them off would make an uncertain leap over the narrowest ditch, because he is not used to such free movement. That is why there are only a few men who walk firmly, and who have emerged from immaturity by cultivating their own minds." - Kant, "An Answer to the Question: What is Enlightenment"
